The accelerometer can be used to add to a counter. A shake of the device will trigger a count. The accelerometer can only be used to count one item at a time from the Single Counter View.

Using the Accelerometer to Count

1. Select a counter from the Active Counter List to display the Single Counter View
2. Press the Accelerometer button at the top of the screen.
3. Sharply shake the device away from you. When jolted hard enough, the item will be counted.
4. To stop using the accelerometer to count, press the Accelerometer button again.

Accelerometer Settings

The sensitivity and direction of shaking can be changed in the Accelerometer Settings.

1. Select the Settings tab at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select the Accelerometer Settings option.
3. Adjust the Sensitivity slider to determine how hard the shake must be.
4. Select the preferred Axis setting to monitor for accelerometer changes.
5. To test the current settings, shake the devices. The test area will turn green when the accelerometer is triggered and a sound will be played.
